About Maureen Kitchur, MSW, RSW
Maureen Kitchur has been in clinical practice for 26 years. She has consulted and taught all over North America for many years. In 2008 Maureen was invited to speak at the United Nations about the psychology and neurobiology of problem sexual behavior.
Her clinical work is internationally published, most recently in EMDR Solutions: Pathways to Healing in 2005, (edited by Robin Shapiro and published by W.W. Norton & Co., New York.)
Maureen has a strong interest in complementary medicine and consults in the use of natural hormones in mood disorders. She also provides couple therapy using the Imago Relationship Dialogue Model developed by Dr. Harville Hendrix. She treats sexual addiction and sexual behavior problems.
Maureen recently completed a new book, The 6 Quantum Secrets to an Amazing Life: Transforming, Mind, Body and Spirit©. New York Times bestselling author Dr. Christiane Northrup calls the book “practical, wise and instantly useful,” and Dr. Bernie Siegel calls it “a source of practical wisdom for those who desire personal empowerment and the ability to transform their lives.” The book is expected to be released this year.
